Tens of thousands celebrate the summer solstice at Stonehenge on the longest day, June 21st. Watch the new dawn arrive. Food and toilets available. A magical experience. English Heritage allow managed free access - see link below for entrance conditions. The marshaled Solstice car park is located close to Airman’s Cross A344/A360 junction. Car park open from 20:00 on the evening of the 20th, monument open from 22:00.1km walk to Stonehenge - a small torch may be useful. Sunrise about 04:58. Pictures taken 21 June 2007.
