SHARROW ILLUMINATED LANTERN CARNIVAL, SHEFFIELD
Annual event held on a Sunday in April. The lanterns escape from Highfield Trinity Church at 19:00, and into Mount Pleasant Park. Procession at 20:00, led by samba drummers. Route: Vincent Road, Sharrow Lane, London Road, Lansdowne Estate and Cemetery Road. Fiery finale with music and dancing at Sheffield General Cemetery.
