RUN LONDON - NIKE 10K, HYDE PARK
Run London is an annual series of events, culminating in a major event. These pictures show the 2006 Nike 10k Run in Hyde Park (not annual). Two teams from North and South of the river. 35,000 runners. North team, in green t-shirts lead by Paula Radcliffe. South team, in orange t-shirts, lead by 2012 organising committee chairman Lord Coe. 10:15 - 12:45 waved starts every 50 mins. Giant viewing screen at the start / finish point, to the south of the Serpentine. One of the biggest race events in the UK, with an electric atmosphere. Pictures taken Sunday 08 Oct, 2006.
