ROBERTSBRIDGE BONFIRE
Annual event held on a Saturday in mid November. Last in the famous Sussex Bonfire season. Robertsbridge stands out as a high quality event, and is very atmospheric. Typical line-up: Robertsbridge Rabble, Robin Hood, Section 5, Burgess Hill, Vines Cross, Battel Boyes, Lewes Borough, Ewhurst & Staplecross, Fletching, Hastings, Five Ashes, Newick, East Hoathly, Mayfield, Firle, Commercial Square, South Street, Nevill Juvenile, and Waterloo. Excellent bonfire and fireworks. Village closed to traffic 18:00-22:00. Parade in Station Road and High Street at 19:00. Stunning bonfire & fireworks 20:00. All done by 21:00. Free entrance. Parking available in the A21 lay-by, but please park safely and with care. A small torch is useful here. Pictures 19 Nov 2011.
