PADDLE ROUND THE PIER, BRIGHTON
Annual charity event held over a weekend usually early in July. Sat-Sun. The races attract up to 30,000 people over the weekend. Video. Saturday night Luau beach party, Stand-Up Paddle Surfing , Sea Fishing Contest, Mambo's Pimp-my-Lilo contest, Small Planet slalom skate contest, Streetsurfing, Children’s entertainers and entertainment area, 18' long Dragon skateboard races, Pier to Pier Malibu Race, Pier2pier2pier kayak races, “Scooter” Challenge, Off-shore Sea Rescue Display, Concert Arena, Bikini Competition / “Hunks in Trunks!”, Retail Village.
