MAIDENHEAD CARNIVAL
Annual carnival held over a weekend, early in June. On Saturday - town centre market, sideshows and entertainers. Local music, theatre and dance groups - bar, games and live music at Riverside Gardens. Stalls along the riverside road. Bray Marina Cruiser Club cruise the river with decorated party boats. 20:30 Live band on the top deck of The Southern Comfort River Boat. 22:30 firework display. Sunday - Town centre: market and stalls, sideshows and entertainment. 12:00 Carnival Parade in the town centre with marching bands, dancers and the Carnival Queen. 14:00 Charity relay marathon with teams tackling a 2.6 mile course.
