LEWES GARLAND DAY
Annual event, held on the early May Bank Holiday Monday. Old Lewes tradition revived by the Knots of May woman's Morris team.10:00 Lewes Castle. Garland Competition by the children of Lewes and surrounding villages, judged by the Mayor of Lewes. 11:00 Procession down High Street to Cliffe Bridge.
