ILMINSTER ILLUMINATED CARNIVAL, SOMERSET
Annual event held on a Saturday early in October. 19:15 town centre. Maybe 20 giant tractor-pulled floats, often illuminated with 25,000 bulbs with many moving parts. About 25,000 line the streets to see the artistic parade with marching bands, fancy dress and comic entrants. All over by about 21:30. Pictures taken Sat 06 Oct, 2007.
