GODIVA FESTIVAL & CARNIVAL
Annual three day event usually held early in July. Friday-Sunday. Large parade from University Square to Memorial Park, Coventry on Saturday, led by Lady Godiva on horseback. Biggest free festival in the Midlands, attracts 60,000 visitors. Live music, comedy, crafts, jousting and funfair. Friday evening classical concert and fireworks. Free entrance.
