CARNIVAL de CUBA, LONDON
Held over a weekend early in June - Saturday-Sunday 11:30 - 20:00 (19:00 Sun). London’s Cuban Carnival. featuring some of Cuba’s finest live bands and world-class Salsa dancers. From 2007, the venue moved from the South Bank to Southwark Park. Large stage and audience area, dance stage, kids carnival workshop, bars and food. Attendance 30,000. Entrance free. Carnival climaxes with a long conga procession. Pictures taken early Sunday 17 June, before the crowds arrived.
