BURNHAM ILLUMINATED CARNIVAL, ESSEX
Held on the last Saturday in September. Entertainment all day in Burnham on Crouch. Billed as the best carnival in Essex with bands, floats, floodlit tableux, visiting carnival queens and walkers in fancy dress. Illuminalted procession 19:30 - 21:15 takes about an hour to pass a given point. Clockwise route around the old town - HighStreet -Station Road - Devonshire Road - Arcadia Road - Dunkirk Road - Orchard Road - Silver Road.
