BROCKHAM BONFIRE & FIREWORKS
Annual event, usually held on 05 November. 14:00 Children’s fancy dress, village hall, 16:30 Car parks open, 17:30-22:30 Brockham Lane Closed, 18:15 Procession leaves green - North then South, 19:45 Bonfire on the green, 20:15 Fireworks. 20:45 Pig Auction, 21:15 Raffle. Twenty-five foot high sculptured bonfire, plus the biggest bonfire night firework display in the UK - 4 tonnes of fireworks, costing £50,000. Attendance 20,000. Event is free, largely financed by parking charges.
