ABINGDON MARATHON
Annual event usually held mid to late October, on a Sunday. One thousand runners. Very popular with runners and spectators alike. The Akzo Nobel Abingdon Marathon starts from Tilsley Park in Abingdon at 9:00 a.m. with the wheelchair race starting five minutes earlier. Pictures taken 22 Oct, 2006.
