LUTON CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL
Held on the bank holiday Monday at the end of May, Luton Caribbean Carnival is second in size only to Notting Hill. 12:00-19:00. 150,000 revelers in 4 square miles of traffic-free streets and parkland. Music stages in Market Hill, Wardown Park and Crawley Road car park. St George’s Square street entertainment, and musicians throughout the town. Cultural market and trade stalls in George Street. Parade about 13:30 from Wardown Park - Bridge Street by 15:00 - carnival ramp stage opposite the Galaxy with virtuoso performances before returning to the park by 16:30 to continue the biggest party the town has ever seen.
